As I got to know my neighbor, Sue, from across the alley, we would compare cooking notes on whatever Dinners we happened to be preparing that night...anywhere from Lasagne and chilli to creme brule for dessert.
Sue brought a plate of cookies over for my family one evening. Pumpkin chocolate chip, and ginger bread, and we all loved the unique flavors in the big, moist and chewy texture and they held up well when dunked in milk... My favorite way to enjoy cookies.
I remembere3d telling sue that nobody can bake like my mother...but I had to admit...there may be someone else out there who can out bake my mother!
Since then we've tried all kinds of Sue's baked goods, and they all are a few cuts above the average home baked treates!
